Title: "Meet The Notables"

Former title: "A Notables Affair - Music you love to see and hear presented by the Notables."

Date: Friday, October 27, 2000; Performance time: 8 p.m.

Ticket prices: $10 for all tickets (reserved seating)

We know our performance will be terrific due to our outstanding leadership and proven track record. Every member of The Notables (and our "angels") is on the publicity staff with Dick as our coordinator.

- Think about condominium complexes, choral and other musical groups, church social groups, professional/social organizations (e.g., AAUW) for whom we could solicit ticket sales

- Share ideas for publicity and selling tickets with Dick

- We'll have a publicity package out no later than March, 2000. Be prepared to sell tickets on consignment next year starting some time around September. Feel free to contact Howard K [310 813-2450] if you have other ideas or want further information. This is a great opportunity for the Notables!!!

Plan for the show

The concert mission is to show the South Bay who we are and what we can do.
Our strategy is to minimize the technical demands in favor of the musical demands (i.e., contracting outside musicians for relatively little work, special lighting effects beyond theatre norm)
Certain pieces will remain on book due to the nature of the song, and to put more effort into perfecting the delivery of the music.
